'The Robots'---Kraftwerk
Very sad news. I never saw Kraftwerk perform (I could have seen them in Amsterdam in 1976, no idea how or why I missed that). Actually, I also missed bumping into Florian Schneider (in theory) in Düsseldorf, as the infant Mr. K moved away from there in 1949 and the infant FS moved in the next year.
This is the first track that came to mind when I read the news here (thank you, DGQ). "Europe Endless" is from my favourite Kraftwerk album Trans-Europe Express.
Möge er in Frieden ruhen.

Vera Lynn is a household name in the UK. Everyone's heard of her there!
Sad news, but what a great age!

I was shocked to hear the passing of Derek Quinn last night. Lead guitar player of Freddie & The Dreamers, he inspired me from day one on guitar and had blonde hair like me. I used to talk to Derek many times on Facebook, and he would wish me happy birthday each year. I remember talking to Derek about going to his concert a few years back where he starred for the '60s legends. I also remember asking him if he still had the yellow jumper from the last album shoot the "full" F&TD did. He replied no, but I have yellow shoes.
Very sad - RIP.
Derek co-wrote this one.

Very sorry to hear that, Rich. Seventy-eight is not a bad age but still too young. Rest in peace, Derek.
