In everything but name, it's RocketMusic. Never heard of them before, but it was well within my price range and it carries a half decent tone!

There is no such thing as too many. I'm thinking of getting another electric.. probably one a bit higher quality than the Encore I've been pushing past it's limits for years.. No idea what I'll get; probably either a Les Paul or an SG though.

True words, Bob. Always good getting a new axe.

You play a few fenders, don’t you?
How true do you think the old thing of it being impossible to get metal out of a fender is?
I don’t play metal exactly, but my guitar tones are definitely more that way than a lot of other styles.

Yeah, my main guitars are Fenders. My three main ones though are my Fender Jaguar, Fender Mustang and Fender Duo-Sonic. I think that old saying is nonsense! You can play any metal style, if capable, out of Fenders no problem. They're great guitars! I've played many and had many over the years. I like other makes, and have other make guitars, but Fenders are the winner for me and have been for nearly 20 years.

An update to my vintage board. A 1980s Japanese overdrive pedal added - sounds great;

Today I collected my Fender Duo-Sonic after having a full setup. It's great to finally have it back, after a few weeks that is, as a pro job was done/much needed. Thanks to Jordan from J.Parton Guitar Services in Birmingham who has carried out the work last minute! My go-to guitar tech, the guitar player from the '60s band "The Californians" who setup my Fender Jaguar back in 2013 + more, and who also lives next door to the Ladykillers home studio in Wolverhampton, unfortunately couldn't do it due to Covid-19 restrictions because of his age.
Gutted! But Jordan from "J.Parton Guitar Services" has done just as good! See pics... The last one I took - the rest J.P took from build.

That's the one. Expensive, but worth the upgrade. Lace Sensor pickups are not as noisy/buzzy are normal single coil pickups. Also, they're louder/more pro and suit my sound perfect for the bridge position on that guitar.
Funnily enough I was speaking to your brother about them last night and he highly rates the product as well (as he's had them in the past)....
