""The son of original Beatles producer George describes the process of remixing ‘The White Album’ for its 50th anniversary reissue."" <--- See link
So, with the 50th anniversary coming out this month to mark 50 years of the White Album. I read that Miles Shovel, who mastered The Ladykillers album in 2014 at Abbey Road, is involved and has been credited doing the speed cuts for the reissue. Pretty cool to read that and how he was involved on our album!

My Dad showed me these demos the weekend---from the 50th Anniversary of the White Album. I like how Lennon talks on it, cool!

Listened to some of the new mixes via Spotify today. Really impressed I have to say.

There's a game I play at Hoffman (one of two) where you take the last word of the previous song title and make it the first (or only) word of your chosen title. Yesterday my choice landed on John's "Mind Games":

I saw this illustration in The State Museum of the Political History of Russia in St. Petersburg last week. It shows an illegal Beatles album (I shall see if can find out what's on it) and an equally illegal picture of the Fabs. Both must date from some time in the mid 1960s. Fascinating!

Here you go. Strange that I'd never heard of this--or maybe not strange at all.

It seems as though they were jamming during preparations for the 1995 Anthology project. Lovely choice of first tune (Bill Justis's "Raunchy"). Thanks for sharing!

I thought this would fit better here other than the "WAYLT thread". Good song I think and this is a live version from 2011. The song is taken from Beady Eyes debut album; "Different Gear, Still Speeding".

Lennon kept mentioning this band in his interviews saying they've covered this song, etc. Thought I'd check it out - not bad.
