Here you go, Rich. The title is pasted straight from my list of the topics at our previous home and just like the topic there the later stuff is equally welcome! Very Happy

Here's where it all started (for the general public anyway). I remember it well! The first time I heard it, the DJ announced a competition where you had to write in saying which colour you saw in your mind when you heard "Arnold Layne". I never submitted my choice but at the time it would have been mauve...

You come to the rescue once again, John! Nice one... That is also a great story about Arnold Lane and the colours, lol!

Here is another brilliant early Floyd song from Syd. This is one of the many songs which proved his talent for songwriting, plus much more. "Apples & Oranges" is one of my favourites from Syd with Floyd.
