Ghosty TMRS linked this at PSF. Interesting, I think, for all those who couldn't make Alan's recent shows:

Heart-warming! So Alan's favourite BB song is "Sail On, Sailor". Did he say "All Summer Long" was on Summer Days...?

I believe he does. However, he's been on the road for many years now. He's allowed to forget from time to time.

Can anyone tell me if this song was played live by another BB, or the BB themselves that is, other than Al doing it on his recent solo tour?

I've scoured the internet for a version where I don't have to subscribe to anything to read it--to no avail, as yet.

I seem to be able to read it all via DJ's link?

Doesn't work for me. Anyway...

This one is being voted on right now at Smiley. It's here because Al is most closely associated with it. That swelling synth note at 3:10 is to die for!

Great song! Always thought that. Carl's break on it is magnificent! Apparently he recorded that back stage before a concert.

Today is Alan's 76th birthday! Many happy returns to that man.
