I believe I am right in saying Carl never heard the final mixes. They were released in 2000?
Yes, 2000. So I should imagine you're right.

Wow! Lovely track. Should be a cool gig, Rich. I hope they do "St. Petersburg"!

Nice to hear Bert Jansch there. Cool arrangement! I still have to get to grips with Oar--I'll give it another listen soon.
I've been told that Boston's debut is the best AOR album of all time. I've always loved "More Than A Feeling" but the rest is pretty good too!

To understand it in a slightly different approach, watch this.

Wow--fascinating! Thanks, Rich. I've just been reading about him on Wikipedia. Ye gods, what a life that poor man had.
OK, I've got Oar lined up for early morning/late night listening. I'll let you know what I think.

I've now been through this quite heavy album. It grabbed me more this time than the time before. For me the highlights were "War In Peace", "All Come To Meet Her" and "Grey/Afro". "Lawrence Of Euphoria" is pretty cool too!
I'm now delving into this equally offbeat album by Simon Bookish called Everything/Everything:
