I hope it's OK to post this here. It is Mozart, after all.
My mother was a big fan of Wolfie's less demanding music, stuff like Eine Kleine Nachtmusik for strings or Rondo alla Turca for piano. It seems her favourite was the Clarinet Concerto--in fact we arranged for the organist to play part of the slow movement at her funeral.

Your mother had great taste in music. "Clarinet Concerto" is brilliant and I think that's a great send-of by playing a part of her favourite piece at the funeral. Was it many years go, or just recently, John?

Thanks, Rich. It was a while ago, in '96.

Here's one I heard this morning that belongs here rather than in "Brahms & Liszt". Martini's Plaisir d'amour was clearly an influence on Elvis's "Can't Help Falling In Love". Here it is sung by the French contralto Nathalie Stutzmann, whom my wife recently saw at a rehearsal in NS's capacity as conductor:

The version of Allegri's Miserere that had always done it for me was the classic recording featuring Roy Goodman as boy treble. I heard the 2015 recording by Voces8 this morning and not surprisingly given their reputation was blown away by it. I think DJ would appreciate it being in her light classical topic, particularly because her Wolfie was the one who memorized this closely guarded Vatican secret and gave it to the world:
