Baroque Music

The PSF (formerly Smiley) poster known as halblaineisgood posted this slab of baroque 20th-century-style
today. I know such romanticized renditions are not everybody's cup of tea but this approach suits me fine.

It's great to see my old thread reborn here, John! I was very indecisive about making it again as I've kind of fell out of love with baroque music. However, that piece you posted is splendid---so I am glad.

The soprano I used to coach is back from a period of ill health and raring to go! We're now working on Herbert Howells' stunning Requiem and this Stabat Mater by Domenico Scarlatti:
