Fourteen months after the previous post in this topic (poor Bruce!), this in my view is the great man's finest hour and another reason why Surf's Up is pretty well my all-time favourite album by anyone. Please check out stevieray56's beautiful YT comment.

Another Bruce classic. I love the moment just after the two-minute mark where an extra beat sneaks in and the bass takes a solo. Gosh, Sunflower is such a colourful album!

"Deirdre" is one lovely track. (God, that album!) I like the way it pretty well unravels when it modulates, with an extra beat thrown in, but picks up again soon enough.

I always thought the drums really are superb on that track. Was it Dennis playing?
