What has happened to The Governor after the fall of Woodbury? We know that he took off with Martinez and Shumpert, killing the rest of his army. Eventually he is abandoned by them and left alone to wander, not really caring about himself or anybody. He first goes back to Woodbury and burns it to the ground. As he wanders he exhausts himself, seeing the name 'Brian Heriot' in graffiti. He comes to a town and sees a little girl looking out a window. He investigates and finds two women, an elderly man, and a small girl surviving in an apartment building. We meet Tara Chamber, her sister Lilly, Lilly`s daughter Meghan, and their father David. He tells them his name is 'Brian Heriot'. He convinces them he means them no harm and asks to stay for a night to rest then continue on his way. As time moves on he doesn`t leave and is able to integrate into the lives of the others, even getting some oxygen tanks for the ailing father. He becomes close to Meghan in the interim. David eventually dies and they realize it is time to leave. They are forced to abandon the apartment and while on the road their vehicle breaks down. A herd of walkers attacks and Meghan runs away. The Governor goes after her and finds that she has fallen into a pit of walkers. He leaps in and saves her. Gunfire is heard and the walker herd is taken care of. After fighting off the walkers in the pit he is surprised to hear a familiar voice. It is Martinez, who is now staring down at him.

Season 4, Episode 8: Too Far Gone

Since coming into contact with the new group, The Governor ingratiates himself with them, killing Martinez and taking over. The main weapon he has is a tank and he plans and carries out an attack on the prison. Tara goes along with him, while Lilly and Meghan are placed somewhere else for safety. In their 'safe' place, Meghan is attacked and killed by a walker. Since we last saw The Governor watching Michonne and Hershel, he takes them hostage which forces Rick to try and negotiate with him. Rick even offers to clear out a part of the prison for him to live. The Governor doesn`t believe him, beheads Hershel, and a full scale attack on the prison commences, the tank blasting holes in the prison walls. Everyone fights, but the damage has been done and they must evacuate. Rick and The Governor fight it out with Rick getting beaten, but it is Michonne who has the advantage when she impales The Governor with her katana. Everyone scatters in all directions and Rick and Carl are the last to leave, believing that Judith is dead since they can`t find her. Walkers overrun the prison, the point of no return. As Michonne leaves, she puts her katana through Hershel`s zombified head. It is Lilly who puts a bullet through The Governor`s head, having the last word.

Season 4, Episode 9: After

Rick limps down the empty road pleading for Carl to slow down. More than anything he needs rest. They eventually come to a house where they hope to find some food and water as well as recuperate. In a dream/flashback we learn that Michonne`s pet walkers were her boyfriend Mike and his best friend Terry. As Rick sleeps Carl goes on a supply run by himself. He has a couple run-ins with walkers, eats a gallon of chocolate pudding, and chastises his unconscious father for not doing enough to keep them safe. Michonne follows some tracks she has found in the mud. The next morning Rick is better and tells Carl he shouldn`t have gone out on his own. They have a good laugh about the chocolate pudding and Rick explains he just wanted to build a safe community for him and Judith. Carl begins to understand and tells Rick he did the right thing. Outside Michonne has followed the trail, including finding the empty can of chocolate pudding, to the house. She peers in the window and sees Rick and Carl. Rick and Carl are still talking when there is a knock on the door. Cautiously, Rick gets up and looks out of the peephole. He turns around and tells Carl "It`s for you."

Season 4, Episode 10: Inmates

Beth and Daryl have escaped together and wind up in the woods. She is frustrated with him since he won`t track for any other survivors and won`t even talk to her and at his complete lack of faith and grief over what has just happened. However, he does feel pity. Tyreese has escaped with Lizzie, Mika, and Judith. They come upon a man fighting off walkers and even though Tyreese tries to help, the man his bitten. More walkers appear. He had to leave Judith with Lizzie and Mika, but they are just as frightened, especially with Judith crying. Lizzie holds her hand over Judith`s face in an effort to silence her. They are all eventually found by Carol. At this point Tyreese doesn`t know that it was Carol who burned Karen and David to death. Bob, Maggie, and Sasha are together in the woods and Maggie is determined to go looking for Glenn, hoping that he escaped with some people on a bus. They find the wrecked bus and everyone has turned into walkers. Maggie is relieved to find that Glenn is not among them. Glenn awakens at the prison and is on a destroyed prison walkway as walkers block his escape below. He dons riot gear and fights his way through them. He comes across Tara outside the prison, still in shock as to all that happened. We find out that Tara did not kill or participate in the attack when she realized who The Governor really was as a person. They flee together, Glenn determined to find Maggie. On the road they come across a military truck, which stops. We now meet Abraham, Eugene, and Rosita.

Season 4, Episode 11: Claimed

Glenn and Tara are taken in by Abraham, riding in the back of the military truck. Rick, Carl, and Michonne are still at the house and they realize they need more supplies. Michonne tells Rick to stay put and get some more rest and she and Carl leave the house. Rick goes upstairs and falls asleep. Carl learns more about Michonne`s past as they clear out a house. At the house, Rick is suddenly awakened when he hears voices and thumps from downstairs. He hides under the bed and realizes a group of men have entered the house, one even lays down and sleeps on his bed as he hides under it. Two of the men fight and one of them sees him hiding there. When the man is knocked unconscious and the other is called away, Rick is able to come out from his hiding place. He knows he must find a way to get out of the house. He comes upon one of the men and kills him, eventually making his escape and hoping he will be able to warn Carl and Michonne in time. Glenn has fallen asleep and when he awakens he makes Abraham stop the truck. We learn that Abraham is heading for Washington D.C., where he is taking Eugene in hopes of finding a cure. Glenn wants to leave and search for Maggie and as he and Abraham are fighting it out, walkers attack and Eugene, a coward and not knowing how to handle a gun, accidentally shoots the gas tank of the truck, rendering it useless. They must now continue on foot, Abraham and the others reluctantly following Glenn in the direction from which they came. Rick finally escapes. The 'claimers', as these men are eventually called, are distracted by the man that Rick has killed, who turned into a walker. He, Michonne, and Carl escape into the woods. They come across a sign that says: Sanctuary for all. Community for all. Those who arrive, survive. Terminus.

Season 4, Episode 12: Still

Following Daryl and Beth. Beth is determined to have her first drink and a stubborn and silent Daryl is making her more and more angry. Beth tells him that she can take care of herself and leaves. After coming across walkers, Daryl, who has been tracking her, kills them. Stuck with Daryl, Beth decides to go along with him. They eventually come to a golf course and hope to find some supplies in the clubhouse. They have to fight their way through walkers and she is more mystified at Daryl`s behavior when he gathers up a bunch of money. They collect more things and have to leave the clubhouse when walkers become too much to handle. In the woods Daryl finds the old moonshine shack he and Michonne once found while on a run, similar to the house Daryl grew up in. Finding moonshine, Daryl pours a glass for Beth to give her her first drink of alcohol. At first he is reluctant to drink some himself, but does and is a bit of a mean drunk after a game called 'I Never'. Daryl stalks out of the house, Beth follows yelling at him for not caring about anyone. Daryl then breaks down feeling responsible for Hershel`s death by not doing enough to find The Governor and killing him. Later that night they exchange stories of their past, where Daryl tells about growing up with a brutal bootlegging father and how all he did was follow his brother Merle around, basically doing nothing and being a nothing before the apocalypse. Beth tells him they need to burn down the house in order to cleanse his past.

Season 4, Episode 12: Still
Track: 'Up the Wolves'---The Mountain Goats

Scene: Beth and Daryl flip off the burning moonshine shack.

In flashbacks we see how Bob came to join the group. Mostly he had been alone on the road. Daryl and Glenn come across him while on a run and invite him to join the group at the prison. In the present day Bob, Sasha, and Maggie fight off walkers in a fog. Daryl and Beth continue their journey with Daryl trying to teach Beth how to shoot a crossbow. She injures herself and he has to give her a piggyback ride. They come across a cemetery and the funeral home associated with it. Sasha, Bob, and Maggie eventually come across the train tracks and find the sign that leads to Terminus. They discuss whether to go there or not. Sasha tells Maggie that Glenn is probably dead and they should just stop at the next town and set up residence. Maggie eventually leaves to go search for Glenn on her own. Daryl and Beth stay the night in the funeral home, Daryl claiming a coffin is one of the most comfortable beds he has ever slept in.  He listens to Beth singing and playing a song on the piano.  Maggie comes across another Terminus sign and leaves a message for Glenn. Daryl and Beth have a white trash breakfast and encounter a dog. Walkers converge on the funeral home and Daryl and Beth are forced to make a quick exit. He loses her at a crossroads when he sees a black car with a white cross drive away. Sasha and Bob find Maggie`s message to Glenn on the Terminus sign. They know she must be near. Bob decides to to out on his own. Sasha eventually catches up with Maggie and they leave together to catch up to Bob. They find him and they continue on the way towards Terminus. Daryl runs down the road he saw the car go, but it is nowhere in sight. He collapses exhausted at a crossroads and is found by Joe and the other 'claimers'. The end scene is Glenn finding Maggie`s message on the sign to Terminus.

Carol, Tyreese, Lizzie, Mika, and Judith have decided to follow the railroad tracks that lead to Terminus and are inundated with walkers, which they do fight off, but must remain moving. Carol is mostly concerned about the girls` survival, Mika being too meek and Lizzie confused about what the walkers really are. Lizzie sees the walkers as pets or something that is still alive, a growing psychosis that has gotten worse since the prison. It was discovered that she was feeding the walkers live mice at the fence as well as giving them names. When Tyreese is confronted with a walker, she begs him not to kill it. Carol tries to 'toughen up' Mika, who does know what the walkers are and even chastises Lizzie about it. The small group finds refuge in a house surrounded by woods and a pleasant grove of trees. There is even a grave where a child has been buried. While Tyreese and Carol are checking out the house, a walker attacks the girls and Mika is able to kill it. She tells the distraught Lizzie to just look at some nearby flowers. That night as they rest in comfort inside the house, Mika suggests they should make it their home. The next day Lizzie is playing with a walker she has named 'Griselda' and Carol kills it. When more walkers attack the four of them are able to shoot them down.  Carol hopes this will help Lizzie realize as to what the walkers really are. The next day Carol and Tyreese are hunting in the forest and Carol is even warming to the idea of setting up permanent residence at the house instead of going to Terminus. When they return to the house they find Lizzie standing over Mika`s dead body, a bloody knife in her hand. Lizzie says she didn`t hurt her brain and that Mika would come back. She wants to do the same thing to Judith, but Carol is able to reason with her saying that Judith can`t even walk yet. Both Carol and Tyreese realize that Lizzie is too far gone and that something must be done. That night after the girls are put to bed Carol admits to Tyreese that she killed Karen and David. Even though he is angry he forgives her. Carol sees that there is only one option for Lizzie since she can`t be around other people. The next day Carol and Lizzie go for a walk. Lizzie apologizes about what happened to Mika. In one of the most talked about and poignant moments of the series, Carol tells Lizzie to look at the flowers and then shoots her. Carol and Tyreese bury the girls and leave heading towards Terminus.

Season 4, Episode 14: The Grove
Track: 'Maybe'---The Ink Spots

Scene: (Opening scene) Someone watches Lizzie from the window as she plays with a walker outside.

Re: The Many Moods and Music of The Walking Dead/Fear The Walking Dead

Season 4, Episode 15: Us

Daryl stays with the 'claimers' and even though he feels some kinship with them he is still very much a lone wolf. He likes the fact that they have a code, a set of rules. Joe, the leader, is the only one who speaks up for him in a dispute over a rabbit Daryl and Len were hunting and shot it at the same time. When Len is proven to be a liar he is beaten and Daryl gets the rabbit. Lying is obviously a great offense within the group. Len is eventually killed. Even though it`s a bit of a rough ride, Daryl decides to stay with the group for the time being. Glenn, Tara, Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene follow the set of railroad tracks that lead to Terminus until they come across a tunnel. Glenn has found another message that Maggie scrawled for him so he knows he will eventually find her. Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene decide to continue their journey to Washington D.C., so Glenn and Tara go into the tunnel encountering walkers and the collapse of the roof. They must climb over the rubble in order to get through. It gets quite harrowing was they try to dodge walkers both free and trapped in the rubble.  Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene find a car and as Abraham sleeps, Eugene basically has Rosita driving in circles informing them that they really should go back and help Glenn and Tara. Joe informs Daryl that they are tracking a man they encountered in a house and killed one of their members. He has no idea at this time that it is Rick they are talking about. In fact, they are walking down the same set of railroad tracks that Rick, Michonne, and Carl had gone down earlier. In the tunnel, Glenn and Tara get trapped when suddenly the walkers are all shot. Maggie, Sasha, and Bob have been waiting for them. On the other side Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene appear. They are all introduced to each other and journey to Terminus. They find the front gate unlocked and once inside they see a woman, Mary, standing behind a BBQ cooking meat. She smiles at them and welcomes them to Terminus.

Season 4, Episode 16: A

In a flashbacks we see Rick and Hershel at the prison where Hershel says he has a plan to grow crops and raise domesticated animals. He does this to show Rick that he can put down his gun and settle down.  In the present and see a bloodied Rick sitting against the tire of an SUV. Flashback a bit--Rick, Carl, and Michonne are on the railroad tracks and encounter walkers. They find an SUV to use as a shelter for the night. Carl is asleep in the SUV and Rick and Michonne discuss what to do next when suddenly a gun is pointed at Rick`s head. It seems like Joe has found his man. They ambush Michonne and Carl. During the fight Daryl suddenly appears and notices who Joe and the others are fighting with. Without revealing he knows them, Daryl says that Rick is a good man and should be allowed to live. This infuriates Joe who tells Daryl that what he just said is a lie. Since this breaks one of their rules he gives the order to have Daryl beaten to death. Rick is now restrained by Joe with no weapons and knows he must take action so he bites Joe in the neck killing him. Michonne takes advantage of the situation and shoots two of the 'claimers'. Daryl also takes the advantage and kills the men beating him. Carl is still in the SUV under restraint, but the man holding him turns cowardly. He starts to flee, but runs into Michonne. Now really angry, Rick kills the man in gruesome fashion as Carl watches. Beside the SUV--Rick and Daryl are sitting beside each other. Daryl tells him to clean up so Carl won`t see him looking all bloodied. Daryl feels guilty about getting involved with the 'claimers' and was ready to leave them, not knowing the man they were after was Rick. Rick then tells Daryl it was not on him and calls Daryl his brother. They then continue on their way to Terminus, Rick feeling they should sneak inside the back way instead of going in through the front since they know so little about who these new people are. They hide some weapons and go over the back fence and enter a building where they encounter Gareth, Alex, and some others. Gareth welcomes them and tells Alex to show them around. They reach the front area where they find Daryl`s old poncho, riot gear from the prison, and the pocket watch that Hershel had given to Glenn. A shootout takes place and the three of them are herded together and taken to a boxcar marked with an 'A'. Inside the boxcar is the other group who had entered Terminus earlier. Rick, Michonne, and Carl are introduced to Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene and accept them as friends. Then Rick informs them that the the Terminans are "fucking with the wrong people".

Season 5, Episode 15: Us
Track: 'Be Not So Fearful'---A.C. Newman

Scene: Glenn, Maggie, Sasha, Bob, Tara, Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene arrive at Terminus.

Re: The Many Moods and Music of The Walking Dead/Fear The Walking Dead

Season 5, Episode 1: No Sanctuary

Season 5 opens with our group taken prisoner by the people of Terminus. We learn that the Terminans are cannibals and Rick, Daryl, Glenn, and Bob are set for the slaughter. Glenn is about to get his when we hear a series of explosions. Upon investigation Terminus is under attack and Rick and the others take advantage of that and escape, also releasing those still in the boxcar. A battle ensues and they are able to escape. However, Rick makes the mistake of leaving Gareth and some others alive, a choice he will later regret. So how did this all come about? Carol, Tyreese, and Judith have left the experience with Lizzie and Mika behind and are back to following the railroad tracks. They come up on one of the outer sentry posts for Terminus where Martin is standing guard at a cabin. They overhear him mentioning members of the group over a walkie-talkie. Tyreese stays behind with Judith while Carol goes off on her own in order to rescue Rick and the group. (Remember, at this time she is still in exile from the prison.) Tyreese has his problems with Martin, but he is able to come out on top. In Carol`s first real badass moment she alone distracts then attacks those at Terminus, using a herd of walkers to her advantage. When all is said and done, a touching reunion between everyone occurs. Carol then accompanies the group and they continue on the road. At the end of the episode a man is tracking the group. It is Morgan.

Season 5, Episode 2: Strangers

Carol is accepted back into the group, but doesn`t talk about anything that happened. Abraham wants to continue the journey to Washington D.C. The group hears screams and we are introduced to Father Gabriel as he is fighting off some walkers. He takes them to his church and Rick doesn`t trust him. They know they are being watched by someone, but Gabriel denies it was him. There are some suspicious clues as to what happened at the church and why Gabriel has holed himself in it. He is running out of food and says everything has been picked over accept the food bank in town due to the fact it`s overrun with walkers. Rick takes some people with him and Gabriel in order to keep an eye on him. Carol and Daryl go on a water run. They spot a car with the white cross on the back and Daryl realizes its similar to the one that took away Beth. He and Carol pursue it. Tara, Glenn, and Maggie loot a gun store. At the food bank they are able to take care of the walkers and get some food and have a feast that night. Abraham convinces the others to go to Washington D.C. with him. Bob, who has been acting strange since the food bank raid, goes outside by himself and is knocked out. When he comes to he sees Gareth and the Terminans that survived around a fire. They are eating a part of his leg.

Season 5, Episode 3: Four Walls and a Roof

Gareth talks to Bob while walkers are seen growling in a nearby elementary school. Bob is barely listening to Gareth and when he starts to laugh they think he has lost it. When he yells "tainted meat" and displays that he has been bitten by a walker they are the ones loosing their cool and their cookies. When Sasha investigates something outside of the church she finds Bob. He tells them about Gareth and the others. The group discusses their next move. Rick is reluctant to leave with Abraham since Carol and Daryl are still missing. Abraham agrees to stay a bit longer. Rick and some of the others "pretend" to leave the church which lures Gareth and the others inside. It`s a trap and the Terminas are ruthlessly slaughtered. They all watch as Bob slowly dies and Tyreese gives him mercy. Abraham, Rosita, Eugene, Glenn, and Maggie take the repaired church bus to Washington D.C. Abraham gives Rick a map of their route. That night Michonne is inspecting her katana when she hears some rustling in the bushes. It`s Daryl. Carol is nowhere to be seen. Daryl tells whoever is with him that they can come on out.

Season 5, Episode 4: Slabtown

This episode focuses on what has happened to Beth. She wakes up to find herself in a hospital with a broken arm and sutures on her cheek. Dr. Steven Edwards and police officer Dawn Lerner tell her that she was found and they saved her life and she learns that she is at Grady Memorial Hospital where a group of ex-cops have formed a group of survivors. It is run by Dawn in an authoritative way. Since Beth is told she "owes them" she becomes Dr. Edwards` assistant. In reality she was abducted, her arm deliberately broken so she is forced into servitude. A patient, Trevitt, is brought in and Dr. Edwards says his condition is hopeless but Dawn insists he try to save him. Another patient, Joan, is brought in. They have to amputate her arm where she`s been bitten. Beth`s clothes are bloodied and she meets Noah in the laundry room. He`s from a walled community in Richmond, Virginia and wants to escape and go there. Beth is harassed by Officer Gorman. Dawn comes into the room in time to break things up. She tells Beth to assist Dr. Edwards with Trevitt who dies. Noah takes the blame and is beaten. Noah and Beth plan their escape. Beth must get a key to the elevator shaft where the dead bodies are dumped. She finds a dead Joan in Dawn`s office. When Gorman catches her he tries to move in on her. Beth sees Joan about the reanimate and Gorman is attacked. She and Noah escape down the elevator shaft. Outside Noah is able to escape, but Beth is caught. Maggie and Glenn hope that Carol and Daryl are back and the rest of their people aren`t far behind. The bus passes some walkers and a tire blows out. There are flashbacks of Abraham`s past during the episode, where he beat two men for threatening his wife and children. His wife is frightened of him and takes the children and leaves him. In the flipped out bus everyone busts out of the emergency exit in the back only to confront the walkers. They are able to kill them all and Abraham is determined to continue their mission to Washington D.C. They come to a town and break into a bookstore for the night. I will eventually get to the Season 8 tracks since I am doing the seasons in order. Also, briefer episode synopsis, promise. Laughing

Season 5, Episode 7: Crossed

The church is fortified, much to Gabriel`s dismay. Beth tries to save Carol`s life. Eugene lies on the road unconscious while Abraham just kneels on the highway, numb. Glenn, Tara, and Rosita search for water. Rick and the others plan their assault on the hospital to get Beth and Carol out by luring some of Dawn`s officers out. Gabriel struggles with his guilt about shutting out his congregation when the world fell. Eugene comes back to consciousness. Glenn, Tara, and Rosita catch a fish. Dawn still tries to justify herself with Beth, who isn`t buying it. The walkers arrive at the church and are able to get inside, Carl, Michonne, Gabriel, and Judith barely escape. Bam! Here comes Abraham with the fire truck just in time. They all head to Atlanta. Rick negotiates with Dawn. The others find clues as to why the community fell as well as walkers with the letter 'W' on their foreheads. Even though they try to save Tyreese`s life, he dies. One of the more surreal episodes.

Season 5, Episode 10: Them

The group mourns the recent deaths and are on the road, barely surviving, with a herd of walkers following close behind them.  With the last of their energy they dispose of the walkers. They have no water, no food, no shelter. A pack of wild dogs shows up and that becomes their primary meal. However,  mysteriously some water appears in the road with a note that says it`s from a friend. They refuse it, in case it might be poisoned. At one point it starts to rain, but when the storm gets to be too much they have to take shelter in a barn that Daryl found during his wanderings. This is the first and only episode where the title of the series is used in dialogue. The storm becomes worse but is complicated by a herd of walkers approaching the barn. They must all put themselves against the door in order to keep the storm and the walkers out. The next morning they discover the walkers are strewn about and see a path where a tornado has gone through. Maggie and Sasha take the first watch outside and are watching the sunrise. Out of nowhere a stranger shows up telling them he has good news. We are introduced to Aaron.

Season 5, Episode 10: Them
Track: '528491'---Hans Zimmer

Scene: Walkers storm the barn during the thunderstorm as the survivors hold them back.

Season 5, Episode 16: Conquer

The Season 5 finale opens with Morgan meeting a group of men with the 'W' painted in blood on their foreheads. Even though they try to take his food and other supplies he is able to subdue them and continue on his way. At Alexandria Rick has been locked away in a house not his own and Pete in another house to keep them separate. Deanna is planning a meeting of the community to decide if he can stay. Gabriel is also in crisis unable to shake the fact that he still feels that Rick and his group are evil. He wanders outside the fence alone, facing the dangers of the walkers.  Daryl and Aaron come upon a fenced area where trucks are parked behind a grocery store. Sensing supplies they decide to go in and try and get them. Much to their surprise the trucks are really a trap, filled with walkers. They fight their way to a car and get inside for safety. Night falls on Alexandria and Rick notices that the gate has been left open after Gabriel`s return, realizing that walkers have gotten inside. Even though he`s supposed to go to the meeting he realizes it is more important to find the wandering walkers and kill them. The residents gather for the meeting and decide to go ahead without Rick. Trapped inside the car Daryl and Aaron decide to make a break for it all at once, fighting their way through the walkers. They are about to leave when suddenly the walkers are taken out by Morgan. They offer to take him back to Alexandria. He shows them Abraham`s map. During all this time Glenn and Nicholas have been chasing each other in the woods. Even though Glenn is tempted to kill Nicholas he doesn`t and they both limp back to Alexandria. At the meeting Deanna is ready to banish Rick when he arrives with a dead walker and tells them about the gate being left open. Since Gabriel is not there, Maggie goes in search of him only to find Sasha keeping him at gunpoint and Gabriel begging to be killed. Maggie helps to calm the situation. At the meeting Pete shows up with Michonne`s katana and accidentally kills Reg. Deanna then tells Rick to kill him, which he does. Daryl, Aaron, and Morgan show up just as he kills Pete. At the grocery store the 'W' men have a hostage. It is the man Daryl and Aaron had spotted earlier. They put him inside with the walkers and also find Aaron`s backpack with the photos of Alexandria. After the man has been killed, they herd the walkers back into the trucks and reset the trap.

Season 5, Episode 16: Conquer
Track: 'Love and Mercy'---Gazelle Twin

Scene: Song playing from inside the truck as the 'W' men herd the walkers back inside it.

Does the track above sound familiar? It should since it`s a cover version of a composition by someone familiar to these here parts!

Track: 'Love and Mercy'---Brian Wilson

Season 6, Episode 1: First Time Again

While burying Pete`s body Rick and Morgan discover a quarry full of walkers. One of the trucks blocking a road is about to collapse and opens up the road for the walkers to head towards Alexandria. Rick and the others develop a plan to divert the walkers away. At the end a horn is heard and half the walkers go off the road and head in the direction of Alexandria.

Season 6, Episode 2: JSS

We learn how Enid arrived at Alexandria. While the others are diverting the quarry walkers a group calling themselves the Wolves attacks Alexandria. They have the 'W" on their foreheads. Everyone who can hide, does. 'JSS' stands for 'Just Survive Somehow', a message Enid scribbled to herself before she found Alexandria. Morgan takes the Wolf leader prisoner.

Season 6, Episode 3: Thank you

Follows everyone as they try to get back to Alexandria. Abraham, Sasha, and Daryl keep leading the walkers that are left away from Alexandria, with Daryl leaving momentarily, but returning. Glenn, MIchonne, Annie, David, Scott, and Nicholas head towards the town where the warehouse Aiden was killed is located. They hole up in a pet store. Glenn and Nicholas devise a plan to divert the walkers by setting a feed store on fire. They find that it has burned down and are chased by walkers. Only Michonne and an injured Scott get away. Glenn and Nicholas are trapped on top of a dumpster. Nicholas, who has feelings of guilt, kills himself and pulls Glenn down off the dumpster. (Dumpster-gate is born.)

Season 6, Episode 4: Here`s Not Here

Mostly a bottle episode of what happened to Morgan. The last time we saw him he was holed up in his apartment going crazy. He accidentally burns the apartment and is out in the wilderness 'clearing' walkers, people, animals--whatever gets in his way. He tries to kill a goat tied up at a cabin and encounters Eastman, who is able to overcome him. Eastman gets Morgan out of his crazy mode and teaches him the art of aikido, a philosophy that teaches that humans aren`t meant to kill. It is also a form of martial arts that uses a staff to subdue the enemy. All this time Morgan has been explaining his back story to the Wolf leader (whose name is Owen). He suggests that Owen can also be saved if he chooses to change. Morgan then locks him up. At the end of the episode we hear Rick`s voice shouting to open up the gate.

Season 6, Episode 4: Here`s Not Here
Track: 'Morgan`s Theme'---Bear McCreary

Scene: Used at various times when Morgan is in an episode.

He finds the gas truck they were looking for and picks up Abraham and Sasha.

Season 6, Episode 7: Heads Up

Dumpster-gate is resolved. Glenn is alive because he crawled under the dumpster as walkers ate Nicholas. He is found by Enid. At Alexandria people are getting anxious as the walkers bang against the fence. Gabriel wants a prayer circle, Ron wants to learn how to shoot a gun, Spencer tries to go over the fence with a rope, Rosita teaches people how to use a machete, Rick and Tobin put a brace on a weak part of the fence. Maggie scans the horizon on a lookout platform for a sign from Glenn. When she sees green balloons in the sky, that is her sign. The watchtower collapses and knocks down the fence. Walkers stream into Alexandria.

Season 6, Episode 8: Start to Finish

Sam has stayed upstairs since the attack by the Wolves. Carol has found out about Morgan holding Owen, who is being treated by Dr. Denise. As the walkers stream in everyone takes cover. Rick and Deanna fight off the walkers and are able to make it to Jessie`s house with Ron, Carl, Gabriel, Michonne, Judith, and Jessie. Carol is stuck with Morgan, Owen, and Dr. Denise. Eugene, Tara, and Rosita manage to make it to a garage. Maggie is stuck on the lookout platform. Enid and Glenn watch as the walkers overwhelm Alexandria. Deanna finds out she has been bitten. Walkers break into the house and the escape plan is of the ole smear yourself with walker guts variety so they can get to the armory. Season 6, Episode 9: No Way Out

As Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha are driving the gas truck back to Alexandria they are confronted by a motorcycle gang in the road. The gang says all of their stuff and thangs now belongs to Negan. Not if you mess with Daryl Dixon and an RPG. In Alexandria walkers are swarming the streets. They have broken into the house where Rick and company are holed up so leaving the dying Deanna behind, they gut up with walker yuck to try to make their way to the armory. Sam makes noises and the walkers attack. Ron wants to take the opportunity to kill Rick, but shoots Carl`s eye out instead. Jessie dies, Sam dies, Ron is taken out by Michonne and her trusty katana. Owen has taken Denise prisoner and wants to take her out through the mass of walkers. It doesn`t end well for him when Carol takes him out. Denise does make it to the infirmary. Rick fights his way through walkers to get Carl there as well. Glenn and Enid have managed to get into the church. It is now the last stand against the walkers. In a rage, Rick starts out inspiring the others to follow. The Alexandrians battle the walkers and in grand style Daryl and company show up with the truck. They release the gasoline into Alexandria`s pond and with the RPG, set it on fire. Again, don`t mess with Daryl Dixon and an RPG. Denise saves Carl.

Season 6, Episode 10: The Next World

There`s been some time for clean up and recovery. Now it is time to go out on a run and Rick and Daryl have volunteered to do just that. Michonne wants toothpaste and finds out Carl has been using hers. Two basic stories in this episode--Michonne spots Spencer going out into the woods and follows him. Carl and Enid are also out in the woods. Spencer is on a quest to find Deanna, his now walker mother. Carl finds her first and lures her to them. Spencer kills Deanna and Michonne helps bury her. Rick and Daryl find a truck full of supplies but run into trouble at an abandoned gas station. It seems like someone else needs those supplies for his community. Enter Paul Rovia, whose friends used to call him 'Jesus', due to his resemblance to the Christian savior. He distracts them with firecrackers, swipes the keys from Rick, and drives off with the truck. Rick and Daryl track him down and he throws some martial arts in their direction, but they get the truck back and tie Jesus up. Or do they. Not when Jesus is on the roof of the truck. After a merry chase through a field with walkers scattered about, Daryl and Jesus have it out, but Jesus proves a good sort when he shoots a walker that is about to attack Daryl. The truck is lost in a lake so no one gets the supplies. What to do with the now unconscious Jesus. Take him back to Alexandria. Seat him next to Daryl in the back seat of a car, Rick jerking the wheel so Jesus rests his head on grumpy Daryl. Once they get back home they leave the still unconscious (probably faking it) Jesus in the makeshift jail cell. Rick and Michonne talk about their day. Rick and Michonne also realize they really really like each other. So much so that when Jesus shows up in their bedroom they shouldn`t have their clothes off? (Okay, I admit this is probably my favorite episode. Richonne and Desus baby!!)

Season 6, Episode 10: The Next World
Track #1: 'More Than a Feeling'---Boston

Scene: Carl is bouncing a ball against a wall, Rick gets dressed, Judith plays, and Michonne runs out of toothpaste.

Track #2: 'Action Packed'---Ronnie Dee

Scene: Rick turns on the radio says the noise will lure walkers away from Alexandria. Daryl gets grumpy, obviously not liking Rick`s taste in music.

Track #3: 'If My Heart Was A Car'---The Old 97`s

Scene: Rick and Daryl are driving the truck back to Alexandria when they hear a noise on the roof and realize Jesus has resurrected his trouble-making skills.

Season 7, Episode 1: The Day Will Come When You Won`t Be

Negan`s victims are Abraham and Glenn. Probably one of the most devastating episodes of the series. Negan tries to break Rick down as Rick has flashbacks to what all went down. In the process Daryl punches Negan, almost getting himself killed by Dwight from his own crossbow that Dwight stole. Rick`s stubbornness and determination is finally broken when Negan has Rick almost cut off Carl`s arm. Maggie is the only one who still wants to fight, but Rick is too broken, especially when Daryl is hauled away to be a prisoner at the Sanctuary.

Season 7, Episode 1: The Day Will Come When You Won`t Be
Track: 'The Day Has Come'---Bear McCreary

Scene: The Saviors leave as the Survivors are devastated and broken.

Season 7, Episode 2: The Well

This episode details what happened to Carol and Morgan. The men on horseback help take Carol to The Kingdom, a place ruled by King Ezekiel. Beside him is his pet tiger Shiva. It is almost like a place out of a Renaissance Fair, the people are at peace and are somewhat oblivious to the horrors with the exception of King Ezekiel and his knights. The dark side is that The Kingdom is under the obligation to the Saviors. King Ezekiel keeps this a secret from most of his subjects. Only his trusted knights know this and since Morgan has had contact with the Saviors they trust this secret with Morgan. When they make a delivery to the Saviors, Benjamin, a young knight in training, instigates a small conflict, but it is quickly resolved. King Ezekiel then asks Morgan to take Benjamin under his wing. Carol is not easily taken in and wants to leave. When she tries to sneak away King Ezekiel catches her and he tells her how he is putting on an act, just like she sometimes puts on an act. The next day Morgan takes her to a cottage where she can be in solitude, but still be watched over, especially by King Ezekiel.

Season 7, Episode 2: The Well
Track: 'Don`t Think Twice, It`s All Right (Acapella version)'---Tufts Beelzebubs (Not the original artist, arrangement only)

Scene: As The Kingdom choir sings Carol is preparing to leave as she watches Morgan work with Benjamin and gathers supplies.

Scene from show where the track is featured:

This is the original track composed and performed by Bob Dylan.
