Watched the last episodes of the BBC drama series Baptiste. Nail-biting from start to finish. And Tom Hollander as Edward Stratton is sensational!

On Dutch TV in two-episode chunks every Friday for four weeks. Very good so far!

Brian Cox's BBC TV series The Planets is consistently mind-blowing but this week's episode about Saturn truly beggars belief. This passage about diamonds reminds me of a startling image in Kubrick's 2001.

Vikings season 6. The first two episodes were brilliant! I have been following that programme since season 1. There is a new episode each Thursday via Amazon Prime...

Will be watching... The first episode of the second series of The Split is tonight (nine in the UK, ten in NL). I'm a major fan of Nicola Walker, so I'll be glued to my seat in more ways than one.

For Christmas last year I brought my Mum "The Detectives" complete collection box set on DVD. She is a big fan who used to watch them when they aired on the BBC in the '90s. I have grown up with them of course, and I to am a big fan!
I have started watching the box set in my spare time as well and I'm in hysterics every time. Just so funny and timeless.

I missed this completely! I don't think we had BBC in those days, just Dutch stuff.
I remember Jasper Carrott from his "Nutter on the Bus" sketch:

Rich, I don't know if you ever saw this series. We joined it for the third season on Dutch TV. Brilliant, different and often hilarious!

I watched this late last night via BBC Two. I thought you'd like this one John (if not already seen). The whole program is on Youtube - I'll post it below.

Been watching a lot of old Glastonbury performances on BBC TV lately.
Some favourites of yours in there, Rich: Blur, Foo Fighters, Nick Cave...
Cave and co were brilliant but the best of the lot was David Bowie from 2000 with an astonishing band. This is "Station To Station":

I've been watching some as well. I was right at the front for blur - great memories! You also see me on the Nick Cave performance in the crowd.
